新加坡南洋理工大学王志伟博士解读动态次优收费模型

7月16日下午,新加坡南洋理工大学王志伟博士应邀来访我院,并在新主楼A716房间作了题为“The discrete-time second-best dynamic road pricing scheme”的学术报告。报告会由田琼教授主持、我院相关领域20余名师生参加。

拥挤收费被视为缓解交通拥堵的有效手段,已经在新加坡成功实施多年。拥挤收费的目的主要是为了缓解交通拥堵、提高路网利用效率。当道路网络中的任一路段均可实施收费时,通过收费可以实现系统最优,得到最优收费策略。然而,现实中的部分道路无法实施收费,王志伟博士介绍了自己在具有限制条件下有关收费的研究,提出了动态的次优收费模型。该模型可以用来制定动态收费方案,从而实现交通流从任意初始状态到期望状态的演化。

报告过程中,与会老师不时与王博士就相关问题进行交流和探讨;报告结束后,与会人员还就相关问题与王博士进行了深入的交流。王志伟博士还分享了自身科研和工作经历,结合实际,从学习、工作、生活等方面为到会学生提了诸多有益的建议。

主讲人简介:

Dr. Zhiwei WANG is an assistant professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nan yang Technological University(Singapore). He received his PhD from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. His research topics include optimaltransportation infrastructure design, analyzing interaction between urban development and transportation planning, public transportation operation and design. He has published more than 45 articles on the top transportation journals. He serves as an Associate Editor in the editorial board of Transportmetrica A: Transport Science. He is editorial board member of International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology. As a Principle Investigator, Dr. Wang has secured over S$2 million in external research grants since 2010. The majority (about S$1.7 million) was awarded by highly competitive Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 2 Research Grant by Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore. He received Fred Burggraf Award from Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Research Councils of the United States in 2016; Tan Chin Tuan Exchange Fellowship in Engineering at NTU in 2017.
