胡佳胤：规范影子银行：金融创新与系统风险
2018年12月20日，北航经商院• 经济学双周论坛迎来了2018年秋季的第二十四期讲座。此次主讲特别邀请到了美国哥伦比亚大学经济系博士研究生胡佳胤。主要研究方向为银行理论和公司金融。此次报告题目是“规范影子银行：金融创新与系统风险”，开发了一个能够阐释金融创新和系统性风险之间的权衡的银行运行模型，以调查影子银行和监管的作用。
该研究首次正式确定宏观审慎监管机构在系统性风险监控中的指定权限。
现场20余名经管学院的老师和同学认真听取了报告, 并提出问题，共同探讨。论坛在热烈的学术氛围中圆满结束，我们期待下期经济学双周论坛的精彩学术碰撞。
Dr. Jiayin Hu: RegulatingShadow Banks: Financial Innovation versus Systemic Risk
On 20 December, 2018, we welcomed the speaker Dr. Jiayin Hu from Columbia University.Her research focuses on banking, financial intermediation, and applied corporate finance. In the seminar, Dr. Hu presented her last research “RegulatingShadow Banks: Financial Innovation versus Systemic Risk”, which develops a bankrun model featuring the tradeoff between financial innovation and systemic riskto investigate the role of shadow banking and the regulation. This studyis the first to formalize the designation authority of a macro-prudentialregulator in systemic risk regulation.
More than 20 teachers and students of the School of Economics and Management have participated in the seminar and discussed the study with Dr. Hu. We are looking forward to the Bi-Week Applied Economics Colloquium next week.
